Serendipity Sunday...Full Moon Over Cedaredge, CO
I was with some friends last night for a birthday party when we all noticed the full moon coming up over Cedar Mesa. This was the perfect opportunity for me to try out my new camera. It was a super moon, and this means that the moon is closest to the earth.
Next month the full moon will be extra special as it's also a super moon and there will be a lunar eclipse. That will happen on September 27th. It will be visible from most of North America with the best full eclipse viewing happening in the eastern half of the country.
I'll need to get a tripod for next month's event. That will surely be something I want to take pictures of. I didn't use a tripod for these pictures. I braced myself up against a deck to try to hold steady. It worked out pretty well.
I've lived on Colorado's Western Slope for over 25 years. I love this area and all it has to offer, and I enjoy sharing what I know about my home. As a REALTOR®, I also love to share my expertise in this area as well. If you need any real estate information for Montrose County, or Delta County, Colorado...please give me a call.
