After completing a full color listing presentation, I headed to the appointment with a Detailed Marketing & Advertising Strategy specific to the property.
It included:
- Blogging on Activerain
- Posting to Real estate sites
- MLS mass emails
- Virtual tour
- Board tour feedback
- Client Testimonials
- Samples of Full Color Flyers
- Professional photography
The best part about the listing appointment was that I nailed it! The owners told me so. I was feeling very confident at this point. The next day, I shoot a quick message over asking if there were any questions or if they had made a decision yet to show that I communicate well and also follow up.
No decision yet. But then get this message a day later. "I'm sorry...I really appreciate your helping us in making our decision and if it is any solace to you we were going to go with you until...." Which proves there is nothing certain in business until you get the commitment in writing.
