Halloween is just around the corner and the upstate is up and running with various haunts. Greenville's most popular Halloween event for the little ones is The Greenville Zoo's annual Boo in the Zoo event sponsored by The Greenville Health System. It's the perfect not-so-scary event for those 10 and under!
Admission for the event is only $6 for non-member kids and $5 for adult non-members. Babies and toddlers are welcome to join in on the fun for free but if they want to trick-or-treat admission is also $6. There are lots of stops through out and the kids are offered lots of treats, not just candy, so it's fun for everyone.
Boo in the Zoo is also a rare opportunity to see the zoo at night. Most animals who are pretty sleepy during normal business hours, so it's a great way to see the animals up close. Most notably, the male lions were very active and even engaging with the trick-or-treaters!
