Show Us Your Home for the Holidays Season 2...December Contest
Remember this contest from last year? It's a fun and easy one, and now it's back for a second year. All you have to do is share a holiday scene from your home, your neighborhood or your community and write a little something about the scene. Try to get in around 200 words, but I'm not counting.
All we need is one picture, but feel free to share more if you would like. Videos are fun, too, and they will also count for this contest. Don't over think this, and the picture doesn't have to be of your home unless you want to share one of your home. Think of the word 'home' in a broad way.
Cedaredge is my hometown. I'm sharing a picture of a neat display from a house on Main Street in my hometown.
Does your town or city decorate a park or a street for the holidays? A picture of that will work, too. Does your city host a holiday parade? Share a video of that. Does your neighbor go all out with the lights and animated displays...take a picture and share that with us. Think of this as a localism post about something to do with the Christmas Holiday. Share a picture and tell us about the picture and why you selected this scene. Localism posts are great for google juice.
When you are done...post a link below so I can see the post. Make sure your link opens in a new window. It's that simple. Everyone who participates will receive 500 points. It doesn't get any easier than this.
This contest starts December 1st and will run until midnight on December 31st, 2015.
