Whooo Whooo can tell me what the circle is

Good morning everyone-On my adventure to pigeon Forge last month I had many different up close encounters with a host of birds that I have never seen before. One was this very large owl. I took a number of pics of him on a couple different settings plus I was trying to get him to look at me. What I didn't see in the pics until I got home and was sizing them is this very distinct circle in each pic. Most of the pics of him are  rather blurry but each one has the same circle. There are many excellent photographers here in the rain. Maybe you can tell me is that circle the flash or something else?  Also how do I make sure my future pics don't have this circle?

FINALLY he looked at me which was a real thrill but I still have the circle and they aren't as clear as I would like.

Thank you in advance for any thoughts or advice.

Robert (Alaska Bob) Swetz -Thank you for all the ideas. I don't think it was a spot on the lens because these were the only 3 pics with that circle the whole trip.  I think it is probably what William mentioned. Now Belinda's is a fun thought. I was on a mountain when I took these. Thank you for the feature

I like the technical answer left by William Johnson . . . But, I've also had some uncanny experiences that leave me wondering if there isn't something to the information on that webpage that Belinda Spillman  gives the link to in her comment.

Sharon, those red eyes look like they are not from your flash!  And is the circle something on your lens?

Myrl Jeffcoat -There are always things that happen in life that makes you wonder what exists in the parallel universe.  I like the technical answer as well as the fun one.

Patricia Kennedy -Could be right. I know in people you get the red eye a lot. Thank you for your input.

That circle is so perfectly round, but it doesn't appear to be an orb to me. I have seen many of these in my photos and others. It's almost like there was something on the lens. I really can't tell you for sure what it is, though.

Debbie Laity I don't think there was anything on the lens because I took lots of others that same day and these are the only ones with that circle. Probably what William mentioned.

Hello Sharon ... you are very welcome and everyone seems to have there own opinion, but I still believe in orbs ;o)

There are pages and pages about orbs on the Internet, and orbs have been around ever since the camera was invented.

Take a look when you get free time and try not to be scared if you start to believe ;o/

Robert (Alaska Bob) Swetz -I wouldn't be scared. There are many unexplained phenomenon in our world.  Not sure I believe in little green men and I have to read the link on the orb to really know what it is. Yes you ask 10 people and you get 10 different answers. This was the first time I had this.

Hello again Sharon,

If you look real close at this photo of Vegas Bob in a temple in Myanmar/Burma, you can see approx 6 different "Orbs" in the photo

There are 3 different sized Orbs by the left eye of the lying Buddha Statue that Vegas Bob is touching, and another 3 between the eyes of the statue.

(Please Note) There was no flash used in this photo and zero light on the back side of this photo. Also there were zero spots on the lens and or zero insects while this photo was taken.

Zero trick photography and I have seriously believed ever since this photo was taken in 2008 in a temple in Bagan Myanmar that dates back to being built approx 2000 years ago, that the orbs (spots) within this photograph are ...

"SPIRITS"

I have posted blogs about "Orbs" before and have even used this photo as an example, and even to the Activerain network

Did you ever figure out what caused the circle?

I'm still swollen today, but getting better each day. 

Today I picked and sold cherries from my tree. I'm going to wait another few days, because I think they will be at the peak of ripness then. Wish you were here to enjoy some.

Debbie Laity -Mo I never did, Think William had the best answer.  I love cherries but there are expensive, Glad you are on the mend. That wasp did a number on you. Make sure you are careful so this doesn't happen again.
