People buy, sell, trade properties and the Maine real estate listings better have unique features.
Or extra helpings of this, that just like you and I do as the plate loads up during holiday dining. So special requests, yes real estate agents, brokers get them, take them. Not just ordering off the inventory menu happens. 
Makes the matchmaking of how about this, that Maine property listing home suggestion.
Trying to find the right one like buying a present that is just right for someone special.
That is hard to nail down in your guy feeling of will they really like this after the paper and bow get ripped off?
The garden variety requests that come in over the phone, emails, texts and lobby personal visits call for the usual you would expect.
Lots of Maine land heaped on and around the property listing please.
Not a lot of repairs on the place. Unless the price is so cheap that the Maine home buyer is not paying for the structure they plan to rehab or just tear down. To begin again using the country location and the existing drilled well, full septic system, driveway, maybe a garage that gets spared the match or swipes back and forth by a bulldozer.
But what about special needs for the property listings we list, market, sell?
Have had a GI moving back from being stationed in Germany. Who bought a shrunk. What is a shrunk? A shrunk is big I learned. This one had been in storage just waiting for the right home to be able to squeeze it in. So the dining room in the home the buyer of a Maine property would bull's eye had to have one generous sized formal dining room. 
Lots of places blown out of the water of consideration for a purchase that had so many fine features, attractive price tags hanging off them.
But the loud irritating buzzer sounded when the dining room for formal dining just was too small.
Yes Virginia, it is true. Size does matter.
A shrunk like these folks had Uncle Sam pack up and ship back to the states.
When the military uniform was hung up for the last time of active duty took up an entire wall in a dining room.
Some German shrunks end up filling the side wall or two of a living room.
The shrunk is usually made of finely crafted, heavily detailed wood. It is constructed to last long after the tradesmen involved with it's creation are six feet under, pushing up daisies.
These pretty elaborate decorated wood creations had a marital purpose too. These hope chests filled with what finger crossed future brides used for additional bait to please and tease a man. Used to help snag and tag in carefully collected dowry items. After the wedding, the shrunk got a lot of use.
Shrunks like this veteran scored in Germany for a good penny were often built in segments. That could be easily transported to the couple's new home if it had a room large enough to not just set it up. But be able to move around and the shrunk not interfere with the function of the living area around it.
We found a big dining room and a large and beautiful, more house to love to go with it as well. The couple sacrificed many other features on their gotta have, really want list that were trumped by the need to house the shrunk though. 
Other buyers of Maine homes want a big Christmas tree parked inside.
A real one, picked out in the back forty by the kids.
Pulling a sleigh and carrying the ax or saw back with them.
To the front living room or parlor of the new Maine home. To make sure it fits.
We are not always talking a six to seven footer Christmas tree either.
So a few living room suggestions for the larger than average, well endowed Christmas tree needs.
What is currently for sale in the inventory that would work just fine for up to a twenty two foot Christmas tree.
Without needing to trim the butt or re-shape the top of the evergreen fir or whatever type of pine.
Check out the home for say at 71 Military Street, Houlton Maine.
All hardwood patterned floored, stone design exterior, with a pair of fireplaces to go with the huge living room. Property attractively priced in the $60's sweet bracket of the inventory!
Or the cathedral ceiling of the property listing for sale at East Grand Lake, Orient Maine. 
Either of these places that are very different would work well for the taller than most Christmas tree setting .
That lots of Maine home buyers seek.
Ask for upfront. Are you one of those that think the best Christmas is the one with the most presents, that set you back a pretty penny?
(SUGGESTION, Just a tip. Avoid the cat spruce DIY stalked, plucked from the wild Christmas tree woodlot search. You'll quickly know if you picked the wrong type of tree. Unless you have walking pneumonia, a major head cold where you can only breathe out of your pie hole.)
One home in Houlton Maine not listed long and just sold in time for the holidays had a center hallway. 
The Queen Anne design Victorian home with the sweeping staircase that would have housed a two story Christmas tree just fine.
Have not checked with the new home buyers to see where they decided to park their tinseled gift collector.
They had to scrabble due to the closeness of Christmas, Santa's visit if they were moderately good this year.
Special Maine real estate requests, usually involving a property that needs to have water frontage, jaw dropping view or lots of land, maybe some farm buildings. This Patten Maine home built totally handicap friendly because one of the owner was and needed it to be tip top in that regard. 
And with nearly four acres of privacy, the big Mount Katahdin view in Penobscot County.
It would easily house that big Christmas tree you sure would enjoy on the first open living concept ground floor or from the balcony.
(Maybe it is time to buy your own Christmas present? Just sayin'.)
