There are some days when I start off with good intentions and before I realize, the day is zipping by faster than a run-away locomotive. While living life in the fast lane is okay from time-to-time, I do not think I would like to make it a steady diet. Bleh!!
There are times I often wonder what is more challenging, working in the business or on the business. Both incorporate different skillets. I have been inspecting properties so long, that I could probably do it in my sleep. (Not that I would want to, mind you . . .) but it almost become wrote routine . . . same ‘ol, same ‘ol with an occasional twist.
Working in, pressing flesh, engaging, drumming up new business . . . there is where my real passion lies. Annelle has done a wonderful job at doing her part in setting up the opportunities for office presentations, and I have been busy doing the face-time, educating and presenting.
It is our company policy to (and we are a firm believer in) providing wholesome, healthy, home cooked meals for all office presentations and the offices really seem to love it. (Great change from the junk food provided by most vendors.) Today, we served our host, educational nuggets, as well as, Annelle’s poppy seed chicken, cranberry casserole, banana pudding (southern style) and fresh garden salad. What more could hungry RE agents ask for. Needless to say, nothing was left and one guy was caught licking the bowl clean - Bless his heart . . . must’uv liked the chicken.
