The Square Foot Theatre Company is now into its 9th season, and I am looking forward to their next production when The Square Foot Theatre Company Presents Seussical Jr. April 29 - May 7 in Wallingford, CT. In this special Musical Play Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your your other favorite Dr. Seuss Characters come to life on stage.
The Play is narrated by the Cat in the Hat, who tells the story of the journey of Hortan the elephant, who finds a speck of dust containing tiny little people called Whos. One of the Whos is a Who Child that keeps on getting in trouble for thinking too many "thinks".
Horton the elephant finds himself having to both protect the Whos, as well as guarding an egg abandoned by a Mayzie La Bird. During his journey Horton the elephant encounters danger, trials, kidnapping, and is also ridiculed. But in the end he is victorious through the power of friendship, loyalty, family, and community
Seussical Jr. the Musical Play is a wonderful play for both young and old. So make plans to attend one of the performances between April 29 - May 7, and spend enjoyable quality time with all the members of your family.
