Is Feng Shui Magic or Technology?

Every Feng Shui consultant, practitioner, expert and master will have his or her own perception of what feng shui really means. According to His High Holiness Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun, he said, “ If the definition of Feng Shui does not change, then it is not supporting the needs of humanity in that current period of time and is no longer Feng Shui.”

Definitions of Technology and Magic:

Technology: The use of science in industry, engineering, etc to invent useful problem-solving tools for practical to advanced applications.

Magic: a power that allows people to do impossible things by saying special words or performing special actions.

About 5,000 years ago the words "magic, sorcery, and witchcraft" were used to describe Feng Shui, and sometimes it still happens today, in the year 2016.

When people do not understand the process or technology used to help overcome what is perceived as an impossible or small challenge (problem), they could call it “magic." One extreme example is with a couple who has been told by their doctor they would never conceive a baby due to their biological components, even after receiving various infertility treatments. Then somehow, through “alternative medicine” (such as with a combination of Acupuncture and Feng Shui) they do conceive.

In the world of engineering (let that be industrial or scientific) formulas are created to solve problems. In the Metaphysical Scientific community, its said there are already existing formulas within our Body (DNA/Heart), Spirit and Mindset that offer solutions to our problems. We just need to be taught how to "unlock them."

Wow....! That may be too much of a stretch, yet I am just planting a seed of possibility with “new” scientific thinking, wonder, and openness.

What if, the Western scientific community collaborated with Eastern Scientists, (also referred to as healers or Shamans) to combine both worldly teachings allowing “new” technology to be shared with the mainstream.

They have already begun to do this in California at the Heart Math Institute. To read more, click: https://www.heartmath.org/research/science-of-the-heart/

Could Feng Shui become the next recognized scientific technology for future generations?

“Feng Shui is the collaborative application of art, spirituality and scientific knowledge that opens our awareness and understanding in how to solve various life challenges through our internal and external surroundings. (possible updated definition/description in the works by Laura Cerrano).
