It is when school is out and we can go to the beach. We can go fishing. We can surf and parasail or spend some cool afternoons in the malls or movie theaters. Corpus Christi and Padre Island offer a lot of amenities and things to do.

Our coastal atmosphere invites festivities and all the little towns around have more than enough weekend activities to keep everyone busy. Whataburger field hosts the Hooks baseball team and occassionally a symphony orchestra will come play. Harbor Bridge is spectacular at night with all the lights. Watch the light show from atop the Omni Hotel in downtown Corpus. Awesome! Even better look out across the bay at the sailboats. Have dinner on the water at a fine restaurant. Vist the USS Lexington on North Beach or see the Aquarium just down the street.
