A summer read for San Francisco fans

So declares Lily Anne, the 12-year old title character of the book Lily Anne of San Francisco upon her arrival to the city in 1904.

Yesterday I posted about some of the business books I'm reading and have waiting to read, but today I want to share a novel for anyone who loves San Francisco, and San Francisco history and is looking for an interesting summer read.

The book Lily Anne of San Francisco is the first published work of J.Y.Flynn, a 92-year old woman who grew up in San Francisco, and is based on actual people and events over a five decade span.

Available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle.

Hi Jerry Newman - I hope you enjoy reading Lily Anne of San Francisco - it takes one through the 1906 earthquake, the PanAmerican exposition of 1915, the building of the 2 great bridges, etc.
