Welcome to the Christmas season in St George Utah! Kick off the holiday spirit with Christmas in the Canyon after Thanksgiving! Presented by the Tuachan Amphitheatre, every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, come see the magical lights, decorations, and Live Nativity open to the community. The whole family is invited out where you can enjoy activities, a holiday train ride, hot chocolate, concessions and other treats, and visits from Santa!
Inside of the Tuacahn gift gallery, you will find holiday gifts and various other Christmas items for purchase. Shop around for your loved ones. Experience the beauty of the Christmas lights, the sounds of the season on the plaza and an open fire to warm you up while you drink your hot chocolate. A great family tradition to participate in that will surely make memories for years to come. Tuacahn Amphitheatre hosts this event as a way to thank the community for its continued support and love!
There is no charge for admission. The Live Nativity is from 7 to 8pm. The Old Salty Train ride is graciously provided by Ruby’s Inn. Santa Claus stops by for a jolly visit from 6:30 to 9pm. You won’t want to miss the fun of Christmas in the Canyon this year.
Tuacahn Amphitheatre
The Tuacahn Amphitheatre is a jewel to our community providing a breathtaking venue for musicals, concerts, and other creative arts. Year-round the Amphitheatre hosts Broadway shows such as Mama Mia!, Shrek the Musical, and Disney’s Newsies, just to name a few. In addition, you can eat a pre-show dinner, enjoy concessions, and they even provide a child care service for families to be able to make it to the shows. Purchase season packages so you never miss a show. Gift certificates are also available and would make a wonderful Christmas gift for your loved one who enjoys the theatre!
