Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 114th week!
Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
This week I decided to virtually visit some old friends whom I don't see often anymore. Photographers that inspired me in the early years of my ActiveRain socializing.
Sondra Meyer was always one of my favorite photographers her in ActiveRain and every now and then she graces us with her skills to woo us to Colorado. In September, she invited us to enjoy five of her fall favorites. This one is Gold Camp Road, but she offers so much more.
William Johnson was one of my ActiveRain icons in photography. He inspired me regularly! This shot is VERY DIFFICULT to get such clarity with motion in the background, especially when all are moving quickly. This is just one of the many aspects of William's photographic genius. Kristine Ginsberg is another one of my photography buds through the years who dropped out of ActiveRain for quite awhile and I am thrilled that she stops by our social network now and then to shed light on staging. But, in THIS particular post of hers she sheds a beautiful light on her travels through Tanzania.
Another one of my favorite and somewhat forgotten photographers is Michael Thornton. He would ponder life and attach some of his breathless beauties as he shared profound moments in his life. Please read The Journey...
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
