How do you stay in touch with your Real Estate clients? How do you generate new Real Estate clients? How did you get to be so successful? There are so many ways these questions are asked. Active Rain has “contests” geared to get answers to the same question by offering points to get the “secret”.
The Z’s, T’s of this world want to know as well. Their motivation is a bit different. They want to figure out the formula and then turn around and monetarize it to their advantage. They do surveys, quizzes and even paid interviews, just to pick our brains. WHY?
The answer is plain and simple, Real Estate is one of the most competitive business you can come across. Everyone wants to get the answers to simplify or should I say make their work easier. I have written many a post about this subject over the years and my answer remains the same. There are no SILVER BULLETS! This applies to anyone who is looking for the Silver and Gold Nuggets.
I am not competing with anyone, but myself!! How did I do last year, was it better than the year before? How did I do this year? How can I do better next year?
These questions are in the back of my mind when it comes to my Real Estate business. Everyone wants the answers, pass the secret on for all to be able replicate.
Well here are my answers again: Perseverance, working until the task is done, responding to client needs early morning, late at night. Responding faster than anyone would anticipate these are the way I get new and repeat business. When a previous client reaches out to me nothing changes, I provide answers to their questions quickly and give them advice what is in their best interest.
I do not do anything differently, I have my newsletter that goes out once a month, I send out the Holiday Cards sometime after Thanksgiving before the end of the year. If they are on FB, LinkedIn or any other platform and I get a reminder that they got a promotion, had an anniversary I reach out and send a congratulations email and might even call them on the phone for no reason just to check in. Since I do not badger them throughout the year, I always get an email or a call back relatively quickly. WHY?
They know I have provided them with the highest level of client service, hence they consider me with high respect and feel a wanting to get back to me just as fast as they were accustomed to hearing from me.
