4 Tips To Convert Content Marketing Into Leads

By
Real Estate Agent

"Local and targeted content should be your foundation to online real estate marketing success"  -  postAprop.com

Realtors have access to important information that can educate interested buyers and sellers.  Posting this information online in an interesting and easy-to-consume format can intrigue potential clients while positioning the agent's business in a very favorable light.

This is the essence of "Content Marketing" and it can deliver outstanding results for Realtors.  For example, content marketing in real estate is fantastic for trust building, brand building, SEO benefits, and traffic to your website from protential clients.

In 2017, content marketing should be a key element of your overall marketing plan.  The trend is certainly pointing upward for this type of business to consumer marketing.

Many on ActiveRain understand the value of Content Marketing For Realtors. However...there are a few tips to follow that can take all of your content marketing efforts to a new level.

CONTENT MARKETING IS NOT LIMITED TO YOUR BLOG POST

Video, infographics, and landing page content such as ebooks and reports work as well.

THE EASY ACTION PLAN:

Once a week, add a short post to your blog with a local flavor.  This should not be a time consuming exercise.  You don't have to write 800 word articles. Just a few paragraphs with a photo or two.  Post enticing information about your community, local events and businesses, and anything in real estate that would interest buyers and sellers.

For example, you can visit a few open house (or 2 or 3) that may appeal to first time buyers. Take some notes and write a few positive comments on the properties.  Include some property details.  Use a title such as "March 2017: Potential Properties In Torrance, CA For First Time Buyers".  Thats it.  EZ-PZ.

4 TIPS TO CONVERT YOUR CONTENT INTO LEADS

Don't stop with a blog post.  Have the content work for you. Take these 4 easy to follow tips that can make your content generate more leads and clients.

Tip 1: Don't just write a blog and hope the reader contacts you.  Close your post with a clear CALL-TO-ACTION.

Tip 2: One option with the CALL-TO-ACTION is to link a landing page that offers similar content to your blog post. Offer your readers more such as an ebook, report, etc. on a related topic.

Tip 3: Don't use PDF to deliver content.  Why? Because everybody is on mobile and PDF is difficult to view on mobile devices

Tip 4: Re-use the content. If you post on your blog, take bits of the article such as a few highlights and use it to post on Social Media (with links to your site), ActiveRain, & make a video of the content and post it on YouTube.

How about a Landing Page example?

The content example mentioned above targets first time buyers.  Why not offer a "lead magnet" in the form of your "2017 First Time Buyer Guide"?  The idea is to take the reader from the blog post to a landing page designed to capture lead information (your lead magnet).  It's very effective way to use your content for high quality lead generation.

All you have to do is drop a link inside your content or better yet a bold graphic like this:

And link it directly to a clean landing page like this below.  This is a postAprop landing page targeting First Time Buyers with content that is delivered in a mobile-friendly format (Not PDF).
