Glenview IL Homes for Sale in the New Trier School District

There is a small area of east Glenview that is zoned for Wilmette schools and New Trier High School. That fact has always made this area a bit more expensive than the surrounding areas of Glenview but less than Wilmette - although Glenview schools are every bit as excellent as Wilmette or Winnetka.

The area is located north and south of Glenview Road between the Edens Expressway and Harms Road. Many of the homes are ranches and split levels but there has also been a good deal of new construction building. 

The median sold price of a home in this area of Glenview in the past 12 months was $560,000.  In neighboring Wilmette, the median price was $850,000. The area south of Wilmette Ave. is in the Romona elementary school district and north of Wilmette is in Avoca school.

Homes have closed in the past year from $325,000 to $1,449,000 so you can see the wide spread of price availability. Homes that are located south of Wilmette Avenue are in the Romona school district and homes north of Wilmette Avenue are in the Avoca school district.  All students here may attend New Trier High School.
