Musical Innovation in Carlsbad at the Museum of Making Music
The Museum of Making Music is a real gem in our community, with an amazing collection, much of it interactive, that takes hours to fully appreciate and enjoy, as well as numerous concerts and educational offerings throughout the year.
The current exhibit, “A Summer of Innovation” running through August 2017, is all about innovation in the music industry, and is completely interactive.
And it would be a pretty cool way to learn about all the different ways music can and is being created these days in non-traditional ways, using technology.
There is also an evening of innovation at the Museum of Making Music with a concert featuring the Ableton Push expert (Ableton is a music software company) and bassist JNTHN STEIN and vocalist SHERRY ST. GERMAIN. The concert is Friday July 28 at 7 pm and will explore how technology is in use today in creating electronic music. Due to the popularity of this event, tickets are already SOLD OUT. But you can still enjoy the exhibit!
The Museum of Making Music is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am until 5 pm. You can purchase tickets online or at the Museum.
