I am thankful for one of my favorite holiday traditions in Austin! Every November the Wednesday before Thanksgiving the Junior League of Austin hosts the Christmas Affair; an extravaganza which runs through Sunday! This year’s theme was “Haute Holiday”. Thursday morning is early bird shopping with breakfast and tickets sell out quickly!
My special friend,Roxanne Ford, from Austin Title and I have been observing this tradition for 11 years to kick off the holiday season! A group of us enjoy shopping, seeing friends and colleagues and absorbing the sights and sounds of the festive holiday season. This year’s event was Thursday November 16, 2017.
This year was fun and unusual and lived up to our expectations of getting us in the mood to embrace everything the holiday season has to offer.
Once again our holiday is kicked off on the right note and I’m officially in the Holiday Spirit!!
Congratulations to the Junior League of Austin for 83 years of service to Austin! This year marks the 42nd year they have produced this premier shopping event!
