Wisconsin, Packerland, Americas Dairyland, and the home of 17 Million Acres of Forestland.Wisconsin Rapids, Bob Crane

Wisconsin is known as America's Dairyland, at least that is what our license plates say.

cheesehead Chrissy WainwrightMany people dress up in green outfits wearing silly cheese hats, claiming that it is Packerland.

But those who know, are aware that the forest industry is what keeps Wisconsin in the black with more jobs created here than any other industry.

And we do need good jobs so that we can afford to enjoy some of that tasty Wisconsin Cheese that my friends come from across the country to enjoy and take home to their friends.

In our state we do produce less paper than some parts of the South, but we are famous for our high quality glossy papers, you know that type that you find in almost all of the magazines that you read, and the junk mail that you don't read.

We also produce some of the finest hardwood and softwood lumber and veneer in the country.

Nick Crane, Woodland Management ServiceAnd the net result of all of this profitable forestland is that we have miles and miles of very beautiful forests that attract tourists from all of the surrounding states, and beyond.

I hope that you get a chance to come to Wisconsin someday, to enjoy our beautiful forests, eat some tasty cheese and brats, and of course visit with Bob Crane and the crew at Woodland Management Service.
