Sacramento County experienced a 25.4% increase in number of homes listed FOR SALE in September 2018 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -17.1% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending sales increased 0.4%
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. More homes are available, making finding a suitable home easier. It's a GREAT time to buy.
The solds are down but that is normal for this time of year. What is disturbing, Myrl, is the pendings are falling off. I predict 1/3 won't close.
This is a market where buyers want to get a "deal," and if they can't get a "deal," then the home better be perfect, turnkey, and all updated.
