Keep It Fresh And You'll Hold Their Interest | They Toss Old & Wilted

Change is an important factor when marketing.  In order to continue to keep the public interested and paying attention to what is in print and online, one should change themes, style and photos periodically.

Tammy & Andy recently had a new photo shoot. They did several different ones, as I requested, including individual photos. I use them on the backs of postcards.

Here is the back of the postcards that I’ve been using for the past several months.

I’ve replaced the photo with this new look.

It’s important to keep marketing fresh and that includes the photos used.  When the recipient of a postcard continually sees the same photo used in the same pose, it becomes “old.”

If the way you market yourself does not take on a fresh look, the homeowner will assume “the marketing for the home you’re attempting to list” will also become “old” if they list with you.

Keep it fresh and different. Make them appreciate the photo and want to have that photo included with the presentation of their home.

Just a quick thought for the moment…. as I put the finishing touches on this month’s Free Market Analysis postcard.

Barbara

Making changes with photos certainly makes sense to me to keep up the interest and show what you can and will do.

Morning Barbara.

I do like the new photo over the old one.  My photo is about 3 years old, time to get a new one.

Barbara, I really like the pose on the steps. That was creative and makes their photo more personal and related to real estate.

Good ideas Barbara, yes content should look fresh, especially on a mailer that goes out often.

Barbara, I learn so much from you. Had never thought to change the photo up regularly on the mailers. Looks like I need to schedule shots with the photographer. I love Tammy and Andy's new photos, they look great!

Great idea! The same images over and over start to look like white noise sounds. Mixing it up is really smart. Thanks for the tips!

Trademark that candy corn marketing or I'm gonna steal it ... LOL

Great job! I really like that second picture with the team standing on the steps in front of the house. It really brings the message across.

You're encouraged me to put on my marketing thinking cap this fall.
