Wordless Wednesday: Russian Sage Blowing In The Wind!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

This hedge of Russian sage took our breath away.  It was populated by a dozen or more humminbirds twittering and drinking the nectar.  The bees were also in sage heaven, and we could taste the sage flavored honey in our imagination. Now, we are inspired to visit our nursery and plant sage in our garden!

Happy Wednesday!

That's beautiful A. Ron and Alexandra Seigel . I've seen this here as well but I had no idea what the plant was called. Thank you.

Very nice. Our humming birds have fled the area for warmer climes until next year!

Good morning, Alexandra and Ron - Barbara Todaro is right, those of us who enjoy this type of vegetation are fortunate. More reasons to celebrate things we too often may overlook.

That sage is certainly beautiful and vibrant and I think it is a good idea to plant some yourself.

I have grown sage before but it never had such beautiful blooms. Perhaps it was a different variety. This is really pretty and bet is smells heavenly.

Thank you for your post on the hedge of Russian sage...my first introduction to such a hedge.  Also, amazed about the visiting hummingbirds and bees. How nice...lucky... that you are able to plant such a hedge.
