YouTube Thursdays - Branding Consistency
In all of our marketing efforts, we carefully consider if the message we convey stays true to our brand. Print media, blogging, emails, direct mail, and videos all need to target our demographics and reflect our brand identity. If not, we risk confusing our data base and any potential future customers.
We think of our brand as the personality of our business, and it truly reflects who we are as people. Our goal as REALTORS® is to connect with people who share our basic philosophy about life and who choose to live a similar lifestyle. Most of the time it works well. We not only get to work with people we enjoy, but they often become friends.
If your marketing efforts this year include video, make sure the productions also reflect your brand. We incorporate our colors, font, and a recognizable style in all of them. Even our music choices have a consistent sound. The goal is to have our all of our marketing efforts build upon our core values and our brand promise.
Here's a recent video we sent to our SOI. We hope to pique their curiosity first with an intriguing title in the subject line - and the word video. Research shows video emails are opened more than text-only emails. Then, we make it easy for them to watch a "short" video. In other words, they should be able to hit the arrow once for it to play.
Much like Anita Clark 's Facebook Fridays, we encourage you to subscribe to each other's YouTube Channels - and take a minute to "like" or leave a comment. You can also add your own YouTube Channel in the comments below, and ask for subscribers. Be sure to subscribe back though - it's quid pro quo!
