Part of our practice is devoted to relocation...we love being the ambassadors for southeastern Wisconsin to newcomers from all over the world...China to California, New Jersey to Texas. We see a part of our job as telling people what there is to see and do in the Badger State that they will now call home. There are tremendous park and recreation departments in every county and city that offer year round recreation from swimming to sledding...trails to hike and paths to bike. Picnics and pools, golf and tennis, beaches and skating...'year round there is outdoor entertainment in southeastern Wisconsin.W
One of the local attractions unique to our area is The Mitchell Park Domes...one visit is never enough and since the displays change...you can always get a new eye full of nature's beauty. The three huge structures each have a different theme.
One dome is an arid dessert theme...mmm a chance to "capture those cacti" which we can't do in our Wisconsin landscape. You can "escape to the sand and sun" walking thru this "breath of warm air" 365 days a year.
A second dome takes you to a tropical jungle with all the bright colors you would expect to find in the native flora of the paradise which features over 1200 species of plants.
The third dome is the one that changes themes five times a year. One of the most popular seasonalthemes for this dome is at Christmas. The pointsettias offer eye candy like no other anywhere.
As you might imagine, the Domes are a very popular place for wedding photography. There is a slight charge for these kinds of events and you can find that schedule by clicking here.
The Mitchell Park Domes are part of the Milwaukee County Park System and one of the attractions that is the pride of the residents of southeastern Wisconsin, the place we have chosen to call home for a lifetime.
This has been a proud localism post brought to you by Sally K. & David L. Hanson, Broker Associates at EXP Realty honored to be serving southeastern Wisconsin for all things real estate.
