Clark County Waterfront Homes.  Clark County, WA has many natural assets, including a variety of water ways. Whether it's a river, bay, creek or pond, waterfront provides year round enjoyment. Some buyers want easy access to boating and active water sports. And others just want a peaceful place to enjoy the relaxed, meditative environment.

With summer in full swing, waterfront property is a great place for fun and escape from the heat. It's a great way for kids to spend their summer days, and adults love the water, too! During winter months, waterfront can be a great source of reflection and natural solace - especially if you have a home that sits right where you can view it.

By nature, waterfront properties are limited for several reasons.  There are only so many buildable lots available along any giver waterway. Plus, more recent shoreline protection regulations are designed to preserve water quality, so setbacks for new construction are restrictive.  For the same reason, septic approval and building inspections are more rigorous along waterways. Be sure you are working with a broker who understands the restrictions and regulations associated with waterfront properties.

Likely because it's so high up on the bluff above the river, Barbara Todaro . Plus, the regulations seem to change every few years. It's getting more difficult to build.

And yes, we do have other great waterfront properties for buyers to look at...always lots to consider too. Fishing? Flood insurance? Etc.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I am delighted to learn your State is making vast improvements for sewer and water for the benefit of owners who prefer waterfront homes. The recent shoreline protection regulations you mentioned are vital for the forest and the ecosystem. Your state is one I can only dream about. I can understand why your home state gives you so much peace. The rewards are many.
