Let me begin by saying that I have been tagged by one of my favorite bloggers in the rain that "Inspires Greatness", can anyone guess who that is?
If you guessed Katerina from Nestor & Katerina Gasset, Realtors® Wellington Florida Luxury Homes, then you guess right! Thanks Katerina for tagging me with Super-Meme and making me think and answer these 8 questions that follow!
1) Who Is Your Favorite Musical Artist? The ultimate is Andrew Lloyd Weber especially with his the Phantom of Opera! I have seen it live 3 or 4 times and would see it again and again!
But, I also LOVE: Pink Floyd : Steely Dan, The Beatles, The Moody Blues, SuperTramp, James Taylor, Patsy Cline I better stop here.... But I love the 60's and 70's music...........I graduated mid- seventies what can I say?
How could anyone ever resist The Music of the Night?? Here is a link to "All I ask of You"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h43VhgiYQgI . NOTE: I would have posted the actual utube video, but I couldn't figure out how to! He even wrote Jesus Christ Superstar (which I just learned today, I love all of his music)
2) Who Is Your Favorite Artist? I would have to say there are a few I really like. Just off the top of my head they are: Monet, Renoir and Seurat. Oh! I forgot to add Thomas Kincaide!
3) Who Is Your Favorite Blogger? Well, once I get better, then "Maybe" I will be my own favorite blogger :) LOL. (just kidding- I wish I could get that good) Actually, I have a alot of favorites and I hate these kind of questions that put you "on the spot" but, here goes:
1) Brad Andersohn (yes I know he works for AR now, but he was my favorite BEFORE that, and I still love his style and down to earth personality)Did I mention I met him in person? Awesome guy!
2) Celest "Sally" Chesseman. I say "Who Hoo" right back to Sally! She writes from her heart! She is a doll!
3) Julie Neerings-talk about a sincere and genuine person, she is it! Everyone loves Julie! She is truly a Realtor with a heart of gold!
4) Lenn Harley- The Queen of copyright! I love her Hard Core Real Estate way of thinking. Talk about really knowing your stuff! She is tough, but I like her!
Notice, I like them all for different reasons. Variety really is the spice of Life! If we were all the same, HOW BORING would it be?
I have MANY other favorites and will find even more every week in the rain!
4) If You Could Meet Anyone Dead Or Alive Who Would It Be?
I would love to Meet Jesus! But, I know I will meet him in person someday soon..... I would also love to meet my twin sister who died at birth. I never met her!
5) What Did You Want To Be When You Grew Up?
* I always wanted to be a Doctor or a nurse. Becoming the Doctor is one wish I never fulfilled, but it is ok.
*I always wanted to be an Entrepreneur. -Which I did do. I opened my own successful real estate company in 2000 in Brownsville, TN called McCartney Real Estate and even received "Small Business of the year in 2002" I have had to close it because of my husbands recent promotion to a new facility in Owensboro, Kentucky.
But guess what, he is pursuing his dream of having his own Blueberry Farm, I guess I will be picking blueberries in the next year or so and helping him with HIS business,LOL. I am a "city girl", so that will be very "interesting" for me. We will have lots of blueberries to pick on our farm in Hawesville for anyone interested in home grown blueberries? in the next year or so you need to check with me.....
*I also wanted to get married and have children. I did get married to my high school sweetheart more than 31 years ago. We are still married and we had 4 children within 4 years. I had twins so the 4 children in 4 years wasn't so crazy.... (I never do anything the easy way....).
Then after the 4 children I went to Nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. ....) (Like I said I never do anything the easy way)
Now I am a "young" grandparent and loving it!
*P.S. I have always wanted to write a book. So blogging is great practice for me! Who know what the future holds?
6) What Is The Most Interesting Piece Of Trivia You Know? The elephant's gestation period is 22 months, the longest of any land animal. At birth it is common for an elephant calf to weigh 265 lbs. Could you imagine? We humans have it easy! LOL.
7) If You Could Live In Any Point In History When Would It Be and Why? I think the present is the most exciting time. I am living out the dreams I had for myself and my family because of the goals we have set for ourselves.
8) What Is The Most Interesting Job You Ever Had?
The most interesting job I ever had was working at the health department and at a University as a nurse. It was amazing to see how uneducated our young people really are when it comes to basic health and how much education I could provide to make a difference in their lives. I served as a change agent and increased their knowledge of their personal health.
Also, being the owner of my own successful real estate company in a small town of which I was an "outsider." Some said I would never make it because I wasn't from there, I was a female. Well, it is very interesting that I achieved every thing I set out to do and more.
Now I've got to "tag" some people: Tag-You're it!
1) Mike Frazier- He is the reason I am here!
4) Larry Brewer
5) Kelly Blake
6) Renee Busse
7) David Saks
That's all for now, folks!
Thanks for hanging in there with me 'till the end!
(Has anyone noticed that my print keeps getting bigger and bigger? Well, I have no idea what I've done..... )
