As I reached for my phone to check the time, I noticed a text on the phone's screen…
“Good morning Ken Tracy” it read…
The simplest of texts. The simplest message…
Just someone who had thought of me this morning as they were getting ready for their own busy day. Someone who took a moment to reach out just to say “Hi”…
It meant a lot to me. It reminded me I am cared for. Loved. Important…
And that is a good feeling…
I have always been blessed with a group of good, caring, loving individuals in my life I am proud to call friends…
Friends to celebrate with on the greatest days. Friends to mourn with on the darkest of days…
But most of all friends that fill my life with meaning every day. Friends to share stories with. Experiences. Challenges. Hopes. And dreams…
Friends that I made as a young boy at school. Friends that I met as I continued my education. Friends that I have made throughout my career in finance and real estate sales...
Friends that I will make today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life...
They give my life meaning. Substance. Texture. They give me a reason to rise with a smile. They give me purpose even on the days when it is hard to find purpose…
And I am deeply thankful for that…
