My mission on Super Bowl Sunday is to stay awake through the “entire game!!” Kick-off is at 6:30pm, and my eyes always close by 9:00pm. However, there is incentive to pay attention, since I have two football pools I paid for.
I bought 10 squares in each pool. It’s not big money, but it is fun to collect the cash. I did it twice!! I’m in a $20 pool and a $10 pool. I buy the diagonal line of squares. They start at the top left corner and continue to the bottom right corner. I do that for each pool, and I won’t know what my numbers are until that morning.
I’m sure I’ll be awake through the end. I want to see these two teams play. The quarterback on the SF 49’ers, Jimmy Garoppolo, was trained by Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. Bob Kraft didn’t want to pay him what he was worth, so SF has him, and here they are at the Super Bowl.
I actually like watching both quarterbacks, but Jimmy G has more experience and better training! The game will be very close, and I think the final score will be 21/17 SF 49’ers.
