Sam Miller Wrote a post that was also featured today about Brokers down sizing and Reducing or Eliminating Traditional Office Space. My comments were as follows:
I NEVER visit my brokers office. I have a virtual office here in Tampa (that I use as my own private office) on an as-needed basis.
Here is my take on a required OFFICE, I can work better at my home office, take a 15 minute break with my kids and if I so choose and even shut the door and call it a day! That is sufficient for my REQUIRED OFFICE TIME.
Let's face it people just DON'T STUMBLE INTO A REAL ESTATE OFFICE ANY MORE SAYING .. "HEY ANY REALTORS HERE TO SHOW ME HOMES?" Like me, Everyone's time is valuable, and a good Real Estate agent will want you to be Pre-Approved, before they show you a home you FALL IN LOVE WITH, but could never get a mortgage on. Not to mention OVER 85% of the public start their home search on-line. The internet will FOREVER change the way we do business.
IF you are a Realtor and you are always in the office and not out:
- showing property
- Networking
- Home Inspections (etc)
- Making someone's dream come true... you can't be making much money!
Congratulations on your FEATURED Post Sam, and bringing attention to this ever changing market.
