If you're wondering how home sales have been faring in Charlotte region subdivisions in April 2021, here's a list of 500+ Charlotte metro neighborhoods where at least one home sold each month in the past 12 months. The report includes neighborhoods in Charlotte, Waxhaw, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Stallings, Belmont, Mount Holly, Gastonia, Pineville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Monroe, Concord, Mooresville, and more.
Charlotte region ended March 2021 with less than a 1 month supply of inventory of homes at 0.6 months (down 71.4% year-over-year). New listings dropped 8.1% year-over-year.
The extreme lack of inventory, which was down 70.2%, pushed median home prices up 12.1% to $305,000. Average home prices were up 17.7% to $370,706 for the month ended March 2021 compared with March 2020.
Days on market until a home sold dropped 22 days from 46 days in March 2020 to 24 days in March 2021, also as a result of the lack of inventory.
