Well, I would guess most of you would know I have disappeared from writing for a bit as I was busy moving. Word to my clients I have a deeper understanding of the stress involved in moving. I also understand the importance of how much we depend on the people who move us and how trustworthy they need to be.
Let's not forget the people who connect our services like internet and other technical devices that we depend on in this day and age . Most important our true friends and family that helped us in this move.
Packing and unpacking seemed endless. All through this process of course I was still listing and selling houses. The most important thing on my list even before myself was my clients as always their needs came first . Making sure everything was just right for my clients was the first thing on the list.
The most fun was looking for new furniture. It was about time as some of my furniture did not match some beautiful antique pieces I had been fortunate to have been gifted. One was a magnificent Chinese desk that and the other a gorgeous antique massive brass bed . They both need to be restored to their original beauty; but that is a hobby of mine which has already been undertaken.
I will not bore you with all of the details ,but I will tell you if you do have a Marshalls Home Store close by I picked up a fantastic UGG Comforter Set that on their website sells for $278.00 and is out of stock it is called Blissful for almost one third of the price. It is well worth every penny and believe me my dreams were blissful. So if you like UGG products I would run not walk as these products sell out quickly. Also picked up Matching Ultra Suede and sheep skin 36 x 36 throw pillows for $39 originally sell for $125 each. Stopped back there today and there were a few left mostly King sized, but there was a good selection of throw pillows. There may have been some queens sized scattered about. Again run do not walk.
They were also bringing in some very nice furniture and guess what? They do deliver for a very reasonable price at Marshalls Home Goods. There were some beautiful Ralph Lauren Lamps there also also other designers.
Prices in Real Estate continue to rise. There are still many buyers looking to buy and it is still a seller's market. I had two appraisals done on my listings by the same appraiser today. It is a small world. We both started in the business the same year. The elevator was out of order in so we walked up to the unit. We were Lucky as it was the 3rd floor. Masks required and we had some good laughs. Life is good.
