Our local Veterans Association fly this flag at the War Memorial in Berwyn, PA. The frame is designed to look like a Conestoga wagon. Conestoga is the name of our local high school, winner of many awards, and a leading school for many years in the nation.
The names of all those who have served from the Township are inscribed in the bride over the train tracks and in Wilson Farm Park in Tredyffrin, including my son, Jeremy. In Wilson Farm Park, the Veterans fly a Garrison flag, a large flag usually flown at military bases.
This is my entry for this week in the monthly contest.
