How To: Outsource Your Social Networking Tasks!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Marketing 4 Realtors

And your first thought upon reading the title was, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS SHE TALKING ABOUT???  I mean, how on earth can you possibly outsource social networkingSocial networking is, after all, all about getting to know other people and letting other people get to know you.  So how can you outsource that?  Well, I'm glad you asked!

There are several tasks related to social networking that can be outsourced without risking the integrity of your networking.  Here are a few for your consideration:

  • Setting up complete profiles
  • Uploading your existing contacts to connect with
  • Locating contacts in specific industries that you would like to connect with and requesting to be added as a contact
  • Sending out questions to your contacts on LinkedIn to get them engaged in your services;
  • Approving/rejecting friend and contact adds
  • Locating and subscribing/joining appropriate groups
  • Posting upcoming events you may be hosting (seminars, workshops, luncheons, etc.)
  • Setting up automation so that your blog entries will blast to your other social networking sites

These are just a few of the tasks a Virtual Assistant can handle for you.  As you can see, each of these tasks are easy to complete however they are often time-consuming, which is why most people don't take advantage of the social networking sites in the first place.  After all, we're already spending so much time blogging on Active Rain and our outside blogs - how could we possibly add more time for the other social networking sites?

Well, here's your answer: Outsource to a Virtual Assistant and then just collect when the leads and clients start rolling in!  Just as on Active Rain, your participation on social networking sites is vital to growing your business.

Anna - Great! You will definitely be glad that you got into the game - once you get in, that is! It is well worth the time and effort.  Of course, if you don't have the time or don't want to expend the effort, a Virtual Assistant is just up your alley!

Social networking is time consuming for sure.  Heck just learning what each on is and how to utilize it is trouble enough.  Then actually keeping up with each sites upgrades and content can be very difficult to manage.

Brett - It is pretty much like most of the world of real estate, isn't it?  So many different things to do, programs to learn, tasks to implement, all in an effort to grow your business.  But all of these things take you away from doing what you do best - which is to help buyers and sellers in their real estate adventure!

Regina - Thanks!  In my blog posts, I try to not only express how my potential clients could use a Virtual Assistant but also to point out all the things they could be/should be doing for their business.  If I get a few clients out of the deal, that's terrific!
