With home staging becoming more and more popular across the country there is an overwhelming consensus within the Home Staging Industry to unite to share and develop ideas the will benefit home sellers, Realtors and home stagers. Starting last November, through the month of February 2008, 27 round table discussion groups were organized across the country at the local level and at regular intervals.

The discussion groups, known as Stage It Forward (SIF) Round Tables, demonstrated how easy and beneficial it is to have local home staging professionals come together to facilitate positive industry growth. Discussions focused on how the home staging industry can move forward in a way that empowers all the entities that are working hard to prosper.  Equally, discussions concentrated on the home staging industry providing professional services that aide the home seller, the Realtor and also helps boost the real estate industry.

As per a recent post by Shell Brodnax of RESA and in partnership with Craig Schiller, the founder of the group Stage It Forward on Active Rain, we are ready to kick off with round two of the local level SIF Round Tables to be held across the US and Canada.

Do you want to know just how great these last events were for everyone who attended?

The following summarizes how valuable the previous SIF Round Tables proved to be in just a sampling of the 27 cities:

I submitted mine to Maureen last blog, would like to bring up the realtor connection more as it is the topic I am most asked about at EXPOS and speaking engagements.  I love taking the mystery out of the realtor for the stagers out there.  Let's become partners with Realtors for continued business and success.

Wow, I'm really groovin' to Stagin' Stan... and to think my previous experience of male stagers were hunks like Fernando...Gary...Craig...

Gosh, it reminds me of a terrible, but funny movie I saw last night : Tropic Thunder.  Funny bone funny.  i.e. spectacular bad taste and shockingly awful, so much so that it's funny.

Good post, girl.  Talk soon.  Jj

You know Juliet I feel the same way about Mama Mia the movie, Pierce Brosnan singing is so bad it's funny and a bit endearing really.  Laughed but loved IT, it was a girl movie, took Chris and granddaughter Rhiannon and we just sang and smiled.  Fun, fun Fun.  BUT he was better lookin than Stagin Stan any day.

I can't think of a better combination than RESA and SIF.  This "teaming" will surely benefit everyone involved.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Kristina -- I think I'll work on that . . . he has nothing better to do and is at my beckon call!  Lucky me; elbows, wrists, and joints a little rough, but the dreamy blue eyes; well they are captivating!
