Home Staging Plan

Many home owners are asking, "How can I get an edge on my competition and get top dollar for my home?" CataList has addressed these needs with a ground breaking new service plan which offers interior design techniques called home staging to prepare your home for sale. Previously reserved for multi-million dollar homes, CataList is bringing the powerful and proven methods of transforming a property from lived-in, to a home designed to sell.

CataList Homes has partnered with LA and Orange County's hottest home designers to add the ‘wow' factor to your home and capture the imagination of the home buyer. Home buyers need to connect with a home and experience a warming invitation to call your property home when they step through the front door. You have undoubtedly seen the numerous HGTV and WE network shows like: "Sell this House," Designed to Sell," Design on a Dime," etc which have demonstrated the impact of modern design on the home selling process.

Since a buyer makes a critical first impression of your home within minutes of walking through to door, take a look at these before and after photographs and see for yourself the impact of home staging and if you believe a higher sales price and faster sale is possible:

 CataList Staging Plan:

It is quite simple:

CataList charges a 4% total commission and reimburses you at close of escrow for the staging cost not to exceed 0.5% of the sales price. You contract directly with our network of design firms. CataList will also pay for the staging upfront for qualifying customers (must call for details). For luxury homes over $2M, the reimbursement grows to 0.75% of the home's value to allow for the more sophisticated design elements needed to stage a luxury home. The buyer agent will be offered 2% in this plan. You still save thousands in real estate commissions yet position your home in the optimum condition to achieve its highest price.

Marketing materials prepared for the public and the local buyer agents will promote the fact that the home has been staged to attract attention and site visits. Open houses will be better attended as consumers and brokers will be interested to seeing staged homes.
