Clouds over Lake Sinclair

I loved the wispy clouds in this photo. It looks like someone forgot to finish putting the clouds in a picture. Just little wisps of white here and there. The water was pretty today too. Rain will move in tonight and tomorrow. But by this weekend we should have blue skies again over Lake Sinclair.

I've been watching and reading posts in Robert's cloud group for a while now. I thought I'd share this one. If you haven't been over to see the pictures... there are some extraordinary ones in that group. Check it out.

Tammy - Very nice clear photograph and the water and sky are so blue, and if you look real hard at the trees in the background you can see the leaves have changed colors. Very pretty lake and thanks for the clouds pic!

Carol- On really stormy days sometimes our lake has little white caps, I think that's cool too, but I do enjoy the tranquility of the lake.

BOB- We are getting heavy rains all day today which means the leaves should be at their best looking in a few days. I'll have to get some good fall pictures around the lake.

Richard- I'll have to pop over to your web site and check out the lake oconee property. Not often, but once in a while I have a buyer for over there. At Lane we try to stay on Sinclair. With 15,000+ acres and 417 miles of shoreline it's enough for anyone to have as a "specialty"

Dinah- My husband (Navy brat) then in the Army as a young adult grew up all over the world, Virginia, California, Alaska, Japan, Italy, England, France, Germany and of course has also been to the middle east (not that was scenic or fun) and he agrees this is the most beautiful place he has ever lived. Although he does miss snow as we get a little snow once every few years.

It is Charlie- It's Lake Sinclair in central Georgia, about a hour and half east of Atlanta, about and hour and half west of Augusta. And yes, both pics are of Lake Sinclair. I grew up here and I just love MY lake as I like to call it.
