REALTOR® Magazine Online reports that Atlanta has been named one of the Top Ten Best Places to Retire ona Budget.
The study, which was conducted by Forbes magazine, considered "affordability, inflationary pressures, and job prospects for the 20 percent of those older than 65 who are still employed." It also took into account number of physicians per capita and number of people who rely on Medicare.
We're not surprised! Atlanta really does have it all. The bright big-city lights full of exciting thing to do -- theatre, music, museums, history, professional sports teams, golf courses, and more. And a great proximity to the mountains, beaches, lakes, and other outdoor recreational activities. Our huge international airport makes travel in and out of the city easy. It really does have something for everyone!
