I reached a Milestone today!

This post makes me at 100,000 points. WOW! I can't believe I made it this far! I never thought I'd see the day, Jeez it seems like ages ago I signed up here. And it happened by accident.

I was searching for Real Estate newsletters, and every other link was for ActiveRain. So I had to take a look. Hey I like free! You can't go wrong with that! So I signed up, and just looked for a while and commented here and there.

I knew no one!!!!! But I have to say, everyone here is lovely, and so helpful, willing to show you how to work it here! Now where else can you go to get something like that?

Then as I started to get to know people here it became easier to write. Then people were commenting on my post. Gave me more reason to continue to write! I loved to feeling of people reading my post.

This was my first post. Boy I had no idea what I was doing? Most of my post were small like my first one. Then I got a little gutsy with this one and I felt good about it.

Then I got my very first feature! Wow that one blew me away! I was like HOLY COW, do I see a star on my post? How did that happen? It felt very good I must say!

Then in April I started posting every day. That's when I saw the difference in my writing. Getting more detailed. Mainly for Localism. That's how I have gotten a few leads from. Actually I get more leads from ActiveRain then my own website!

Then there was the contest. That was the next turning point! That was quite an experience! I learned so much from that contest, I am still putting it to use.

I have gain such great friendships from here. Heck my closest friend now is Midori, who I can't seem to go a day without speaking to her!

So Thank you ActiveRain for so many things. 100,000 points later, that's saying a lot!
