At times we look to ourselves and decide if we are good or bad......happy or sad.....successful or not........rich or poor.....

In reality while we can get a feel for who we are by looking within, nothing more shows exactly who and what we are than the company we keep.

The Faith you have and the family, friends and acquaintances we keep is the true measure of who we are.

The Church that you belong, the involvement you have in that Church and the people of your faith.....keep you centered and gives you the base from which the rest of your life is guided.

Add to that the family and friends and the true picture of you comes forth.

I wish all the happiest Thanksgiving from my family to yours.

I'm not a member of any man-made church, preferring to believe that the Universe is my Church. However, I have found that if I'm Pleasant, Polite, Personable, Positive, and Professional throughout the year, then I have lots of people joining my "church" and I'm able to give thanks year-round rather than waiting for any specific day. I find it to be very empowering for me and those around me.
