Driving through Wailuku Maui, Hawaii the other day I snapped these pictures from the passenger seat while cruising to Waikapu.  If you live in Wailuku, these buildings will be landmarks to you.  Maui has a nice mix of old and new buildings, including the Wailuku Elementary School and the State Building.

See some more pics of old Wailuku.

I love the photo you took of the building with the ocean in the background and the boy in the back of the pickup just soaking up the rays. What a life!

Do you put all these awesome photos of Maui on flickr in your own Maui group? I would love that, then I could go there and just view all your photos in one place at one time and keep a slide show going!

Georgina, Hawaii has a style of living unlike anywhere else I have been. If I had a choice, I would so live there.

Danny- you do have a choice! We always have a choice. I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and had my first born there. I will so go back there to work my online companies once they are all going well enough to get there. I am getting a one way ticket!

Georgina- Sorry, just had to chime in:)

Like the Wailuku Pics Hunter. I love the old Plantation Style Architecture in and around Wailuku town. Good to know Murray was driving.

Hi Georgina...My favorite is the old church.  At least it looks old so even if it isn't I love it anyway.

Thanks for the sunny day, the blue, blue skies, the tropical trees and plants, and a reminder of why we had such a wonderful vacation in Maui way back in 1977.

I lived on Maui in the early 1990's, these buildings all look the same as they did back then.
