One of the most exciting as well as disappointing things about real estate is that there are so many that just like insanity. Remember that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
I'm a top lender in my area. Im in the top 3 nationally within my company. What sets me apart is that I partner...yes...partner with my realtor referral partners. That means that I care about their life plans, their visions and their goals. I want to partner with people who think that partnership planning is important because that allows for huge growth for me as well as my partner. When I say growth, I'm talking business growth as well.
My top referral partner is in the top 15 in all of the state of Illinois. She understands that although we are getting better every day...that being great in the business...is a result of a greater plan. In other words....business growth is but one element of a great life.
She and I plan together, keep each other accountable for each other's visions and dreams. What has evolved from a trusting business alliance is a life long friendship. Before you all think that I'm sleeping with the street, that's not the case. The relationship has been based on trust. now i'm great friends with her husband and she's awesome friends with my wife. This is a huge deep bond. Now our plans and visions are as great as ever....
But I can't find other people who have a lust for growth. I'm looking for them always. It seems to me that realtors are so busy in their daily activities that they rarely think that there are others who care about people who want to grow annnnnnnnnnnnddddddd....... that a lender or someone else could actually add value to them.....
