The Power of Relationship Building

By
Home Builder with Campbell Homes

So many of you commented on my blog about the family that was dropped from a company that is going out of business locally. This family was heartbroken and I was given the task of mending their hearts and redirecting them to Campbell Homes. I stated before that they had decided not to buy with Campbell Homes right now and they needed to just take some time.

UPDATE:

I continued to follow up with them. No pressure just talking to them as if we were friends (and at this point I would consider them so). Well their Realtor took them back out to one of the homes we had initially talked about and they still loved it. So last night 2 of our owners, The Sales councilor for that community, their realtor, and their former sales person at the other builder (who is no longer with that company) all sat down and made the home theirs!

YAY! Success for everyone. This just goes to show that building those relationships and trust is worth it. Sometimes it takes time to heal the heart but when you show genuine compassion and interest in a client they become a family to you not a paycheck and now my family has joined the Campbell family!

That is great example of treating people how they should be treated. Great job on maintaining those relationships.

I am in regular contact with many of my clients....those who go looking every month or so. Getting to know your clients is not a sales technique, it's something that comes naturally to some people and those people make the best agents.

When you spend so much time with a client it's natural for you to form close bonds. Like you they do become our friends some where in the process.
