Foreclosures Blues in the Florida Keys

We've got the blues ... and it's nothing to be embarrassed about.  It can happen to anyone.  Here in the Keys the Monroe County Tax Collector, Danise Henriquez, the Mayor for the city of Key West, Morgan McPherson, the Monroe County Superintendent of Schools, Randy Acevedo and even a Key West City Commissioner, Clayton Lopez, were all served with foreclosure notices.

The reasons may be different and the eventual outcomes may be different, but foreclosure stress is shared by all of us whether it's because we've been served or a friend or family member has been served.  To me and some people I've talked to seeing our governmental officials face the same problems as we are facing makes them human.  It makes us think they understand what we are going through.  Anyone of us could be in this same position if just one thing went wrong in our lives.  It's important to be compassinate, supportive and understanding with friends, loved ones and our government officials.
