I wanna be a Pre-school teacher

My wife is a pre-school teacher. She works at Warren W. Cherry Preschool, a developmental pre-school right here in Evanston.  She's got a great job.

Not only does she get to play with kids all day, they sing songs, play games, run on the playground... all good stuff, right?  But today, she got to go to work in her Pajamas.  That's right... today was Pajama Day.  All the kids will be arriving in their sleepwear, and the teachers are no different.

Okay, she had to go buy a new pair of Pajamas for today... can't be seen in last season's sleepwear, can we?... and we can't risk torn or thinning pajamas... can we? ... but still Pajama Day!

And not just in one classroom.  All of the teachers, school-wide, will be arriving in their finest sleepwear.

No fun-police at Cherry Preschool. This should be fun for everyone. I'm sure the kids will enjoy it.

Alan thats cool my kids get to do that to .... I always wanted to be a teacher but I have a bad mouth and the other parents wouldn't like that....plus I'm not that smart....peace zane

Sounds like a great way to incooperate fun with learning. I wouldn't have minded coming to work in my PJ's today, in addition I would have rather stayed in bed.

Zane - yeah the kids like it...  and yeah.. parents are funny about tolerating "bad mouth" in their children's teachers.... go figure.

David - it is a great way to incorporate fun into the day's routine.  A little change-up.

OK Alan, I see where you are going with this. So when are you going to start the PJ work day here.

One needs to post themselves in PJ before starting to post that day. (Photo required) Do I smell a PJ contest somewhere around here.

Alan..whats the big deal I do the reverse all the time and fall asleep in my school clothes, or was it sleep during class in my street clothes. Either way sounds like your wife is a good sport..and that is a requirement at my house.

Steve - I didn't know that it was a requirement for my wife to be a good sport in your house.... I guess that makes sense

Laura - there are already enough realtors spending the day in their PJs

Shelton - I've already been told, in no uncertain terms that there will be "no photos, on my blog, of my wife in her Pajamas".

Well ... I already wear my sleepwear to work because I sleep in my clothes on the recliner ... so no fun day for me!

I'd have to buy new ones too because I don't own any pjs.  They are just too hot to sleep in!
