Do Blogs REALLY Capture Customers?

By
Real Estate Agent with WEICHERT, REALTORS - Access Realty

Just in....

Surgeon relocating to our city finds his dream home on agent's Blog.

Not only that, they are sitting down today to write the contract.

Rod, one of our agent's that decided to put up a FREE blog a couple of months ago has gotten his first big result - a $350,000 sale.  Not bad for a totally free website/blog.

Here's why Rod says it's successful - he does the things that Google and the other search enignes like.  He posts at least a short paragraph every day, providing new content for the search engines almost daily.

Search engines like fresh content - even better if it appears daily.

How long does it take him?  Rod says he spends maybe 2 minutes a day posting a short blurb or a link back to a new listing.  That's all it takes.

His particular blog is targeted to a very competitive part of our city and he has about a million competing websites.  It took some time (a couple of months) but he is currently on page 2 of Google.

Now he is beginning to reap the rewards.

Blogs are just one of the 21st Century tools to market your business with.  I have posted another 14 of them at http://www.realestaterocketfuel.com/26/rocket-fuel-agents-toolkit-coming-soon/

Enjoy!

Not bad at all. I have captured a couple buyers too.  And I believe many more to come.

Blogging is the electronic way of chatting at a cyber party. At "real "parties you can talk about what you do and get a customer. Same with blogging. So Your post is on the money

I have picked up a couple of buyers from my blog.  I don't blog everyday but I think I will get back to that after reading this.  Thanks!

Mike I agree, blogging has become the number one source for Google Juice. My web site is submitted to Google every month with minimal success, but all I have to do is write a post and within minutes it is on page one. Blogging works. Thanks.

Hi Mike

I agree. Blogging is a great way to expose your listings to buyers. Let's face it, everyone uses the internet to look for properties.  Less and less looks at print advertisements. I'm getting more leads from my blogs and postings.

Thanks

Mike,

I have several blogs for my niches. However, I don't know how to get the boxes that allow the person to submit his name and email. How do you access this?
Thanks!
