pushing the envelope: About as reliable as the weather! - 07/17/14 02:42 AM

This is the South. July is supposed to be hot and muggy.
But weather doesn’t follow rules or schedules. And so this morning we were blessed with a record low 57 degrees in Sharpsburg GA for July 17.
It’s not a life or death thing. It’s just interesting.
And it’s also a reminder that occasionally the envelope can be pushed and one can break out of the norm!

It’s a refreshing change from the ordinary!

Why do we climb mountains? Common sense suggests that the rewards do not justify the risks.
But challenge is part and parcel of the human spirit. If we don’t periodically test our mettle, life can become boring and mundane.
