Knowing the inventory is an essential task of a real estate agent, and I often come across several properties each week that intrigue me, that offer something special and unique. This week is no exception.
I have written before about the Edwardian condo listing I have on Nob Hill, at 1561 Sacramento Street. That property is now in contract and the sale is on track to record tomorrow.

Nob Hill is one of the iconic landmarks of San Francisco. With the California Street cable car running up the hill from the Financial District to Van Ness Avenue, you can arrive at one of the famed hotels in the city, The Fairmont, Huntington, or Mark Hopkins. Tuesday is broker tour day in San Francisco. Tours are broken down in 1-1/2 hour segments depending in which area a property is located, which means one needs to carefully plan which properties one needs and wishes to tour - time flies!
Today I concentrated my time looking at 2- and 3-bedroom, 2-bath condos in the Nob Hill, Pacific Heights, Lower Pacific Heights and Hayes Valley area. These condominiums range in price from $1,299,000 to $1,995,000.

There's a building boom going on in San Francisco, with cranes spotted almost everywhere one looks. Much of the building is in the South of Market area (SOMA) and along Market Street, both commercial and residential.
