As I was working Friday evening on the final touches to the "fine tuning" of the mailpiece before the next run of 400 are produced, I was interrupted by the sound of a "Ping"!
That's the noise my phone makes when receiving a text message.
Yep - another respondent to our mailing campaign!

Yesterday at 240pm I received a text message from Deanna at West Press:
I just finished watching and teaching.. The 10 are out the door
The first ten are on their way!
We will know soon whether Priority Mail will take 1 or 2 days from Tucson to the Scottsdale area. Suzanne will be checking the tracking numbers later this morning.
I'll be talking with Deanna this morning to see how long it took them yesterday to handle the first ten.
I've sent her a list for the next ten to be shipped today.
Today, the test drive begins. Names and addresses for the first ten soon to be recipients of "the mailpiece" have been provided to West Press as of 8am this morning.
West Press will be working diligently to ensure no mis-steps, and tracking how long it takes today, so we can estimate their maximum capacity per day for fulfillment.
Our goal is to ship a total of one hundred by Thursday of this week.
Our resource for outbound calls to confirm receipt of the packages will start calling on Thursday - calling (0 comments)

They will be able to schedule appointments on our behalf directly with the Homeowners - via TimeTrade - which syncs with our iCals (synchs with other calendars as well). If you haven't checked this fabulous and inexpensive tool out before - I encourage you to (6 comments)

VoiceNation For a very reasonable fee they answer the phone "live", in a USA based "call center", 24 hours a day, (14 comments)
