There is a special young 18 year old woman, Lynsey Thurman, from Round Rock Texas in need of a kidney transplant. In January of 2009, Lynsey lost her transplant kidney and has been placed on dialysis 3 times a week for 3 hours each time. At the age of 2, Lynsey lost her native kidneys to a rare disease. She received a transplanted kidney from a non-related living donor. This remarkable gift lasted 18 years allowing Lynsey to thrive and grow into a beautiful young woman.
Lynsey is listed for a kidney transplant in three Texas area databases. Funds are being raised to assist with her transplant-related expenses. " The family and friends of Lynsey want to encourage and challenge everyone to ask their neighbors and colleagues to make a pledge to help give Lynsey a second chance at life", says Ysolette Nicoson (512-293-3009).
Please join me in the Wine Tasting Fundraiser Event. Tickets are only $10 and they are available at the door. There will also be a silent auction at the event. "100% of the funds collected at the Wine Tasting will assist with transplant-related expenses."
