TOUGH REQUIRES TOUGHER

The true test of anything is to see how bad you want it. Anything worth having requires work, commitment and sacrifice as well as time and attention. Sweat, hard labor, perseverance and tenacity will visit and be available to be activated and then wielded. The score tells the story after that

RESISTANCE EQUALS GROWTH

A good challenge is really a work-out for our skills bank no different than when you go to the gym and you want to work a certain set of muscle groups. You target that area of the body and then "work it" and in time and with consistency, that area responds. You will know if you like Gym work-outs soon enough

CHICKEN OR THE EGG...WHICH CAME FIRST?

What escapes most people is they don't even know what their capabilities are. What are your skills bank? Where do you excel and where do you falter? Do you know your own limitations? That's the whole point presented another way. Perhaps the circumstance or challenge will also reveal just what is inside of you and what you can or cannot do with or without effort...

GOLD FOR THE TAKING?

Take mining for gold as an example. Everyone heard about the 1849 strike and having nothing else going on decided to try their luck on this. Many did not have what it takes and discovered that from the doing of it. As a side note, that is what gave gold its value which was what it took to get it...Sure, the gold is waiting for someone to take it? But who?

TEST YOUR METTLE

Hard labor, cold and hot weather, tools, failure, hunger, defeat and long suffering, and being able to defend ones self against the most vicious and harsh reality of it all...I.E. other men (competition) who will kill you along the way. For those that succeeded, they come back different from when they started richer in many ways.

WHAT ARE WE SEEKING?

You have to have a satisfaction about anything that you do. Its like a cycle where you start something and then take it through all its stages, through all its paces right to a satisfying conclusion. Human beings are designed that way. The harder or more difficult tasks require exceptional takers who hear that call, answer it and then take it full cycle. They bring in the sheaves...the harvest.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP?

You see this a lot when people try to start their own business. Looks easy-peasy in theory, if it is a franchise, then follow the instructions and if others can do it I can do it all presents itself. The actual doing shocks so many people that the high failure rate kicks in and takes you out! The first six months will mop the floor with you. The second will send you on your way....PACKING if this isn't for you

NO EXCUSES!

However, if you can rise to every occasion, problem solve, not back down, take a stand, do or die, and have the most important mindset bar none at work and on point, then you will make it. I call it the no-excuse mentality and it is no respecter of persons and hurts like hell but it works if you work it!

THE TEST REVEALS ALL

Hundreds of excuses will make their way toward like a horde of angry bees with stingers ready to go and that is the true test of all. How bad do you want it? How willing are you to work past your own excuses? Only you will know when you go into that realm one way or the other of...whats in you?

In theory, anything is possible. But it may not be for you

if anything worth having requires work how do we explain our entitlement generation and those who believe the government should give us everything and take care of us???

Confusing...

Richie~ I'm beyond the days of tough and tougher yet. I don't need to struggle to be happy, I need to be successful and that shouldn't be a struggle.
